The Astronomical Observatory (AO) has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (PMF) of the University of Banja Luka, on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. A ceremonial academy marking this jubilee was held on 11.09.2026, and the following day, on 12.09.2026, the Primat30 conference was held, where the director of the Astronomical Observatory, Luka Č. Popović, gave a plenary lecture titled "SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLES IN THE UNIVERSE – COEVOLUTION WITH GALAXIES."
