Abstract
Building on existing research demonstrating that solar activity governs numerous terrestrial geographical processes, this study explores future directions for interdisciplinary research in the astro-geographical field. Given that all natural phenomena are inherently interconnected, establishing cascading causal chains across multiple earth-system elements offer new perspectives on terrestrial changes that are often examined in isolation from broader solar influences. Accordingly, this work investigates the linkages among both natural and social geographical elements, contextualizing them within the framework of overarching solar forcing. As research of this kind remains in its early stages (e.g., Langović et al., 2025), further methodological development is essential to fully elucidate these complex terrestrial processes. Ultimately, this study proposes a foundational framework for this interdisciplinary domain, highlighting the critical need to develop robust methodological tools for future investigations.
